Commemorative ceramic plates

Ceramic plates have been used to serve your favourite cuisine for many centuries as a sign of civilisation but in the United Kingdom ceramic plates were used to memorialize a special event displaying engaging images in the early 1900. These plates are known as commemorative plates or souvenir plates.

Commemorative plates are used to commemorate special events in history like opening of a school or mosque, anniversary of a society or association or marriage, school reunion; by printing the main character of the events with a summary of the event usually printed at the back of the plate. These plates acted like a souvenir with lasting memories and dedication to the recipients.

Commemorative plates for recent events like the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth and the US Presidential inauguration has been a popular collection.  

Commemorative plates are available in 15cm, 20cm, 25cm and 30 cm in white colour. The plates can be placed on a table or hung on a wall as a memory and also a decoration.
